Care Team Ministry
Let's be the hands and feet of Christ together!

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
                                 I Peter 4:10-11

Join us in one of our caring ministry areas as we promote meaningful relationships within our congregation by encouraging the caring for and by our church family so that each person will feel a sense of God’s love and a feeling of belonging.

We believe that caring and caregiving is at the heart of Christian ministry. Our goal is to glorify God by creating a climate of caring in our Martin family. We strive to provide emotional, spiritual, and physical support and encouragement to our family during times of crisis as well as the good times in life.

If your heart is calling you to share the gift of compassion and caring with others through one of these ministries, please join us at our Care Team meetings which are held on the second Sunday every other month.

Contact the church office if you feel called to serve in one of these areas.

Join the team that sends cards to those with prayer needs. Meet every other month to sign cards and share concerns.

This ministry combines fellowship, food and faith. When someone needs a meal,

volunteers are on call to help provide a meal.

This team delivers sanctuary flowers to people who are ill, home-bound , in nursing or retirement homes. The beautiful flowers are a reminder of God’s love and assurance of the prayers of our Martin family.

Care Team members are available to assist families by serving meals or refreshments as requested by the bereaved family.

The members of this team will visit Martin family who are hospitalized . We do visitations one week each month. Sharing your time reminds patients of God’s love and healing power and shows that their Martin family cares.

Put your faith into action and share God’s love with our Martin family who are home-bound or in nursing, assisted living, or retirement facilities. You will be blessed by the friendships you form during your visits!

Share the joy of Sunday worship and fellowship by driving those in need of transportation on Sunday morning.
